Pliny A. Bergstresser first opened the funeral home when he combined the business with a cabinet making and furniture sales store. Then in 1942, Clarence W. Templeton purchased the funeral home. Templeton Funeral Home was in operation for 42 years before Clarence desired to retire. The Heintzelman Family bought the funeral home in 1984, and named David J. Heintzelman the supervisor of the Templeton-Heintzelman Funeral Home. In 1986 the name was changed to the Heintzelman Funeral Home. The Heintzelman family then incorporated both locations and became Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in 1993.
Kelly was born in Fountain Hill on September 25, 1961 to Richard E. He owned and operated Saucon Sewer and Drain, Bethlehem, since 1995. Kelly was a 1979 graduate of Saucon Valley High School. He truly enjoyed his family, working, his trucks, and his ATV. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
